We run a volunteer trapping project in our local park - Olympic Park.
Our aim is to reduce pest animal numbers within the park to create a safe & healthy habitat for biodiversity to thrive.
We check our traps weekly.

Restoring Parakiore by reducing Pest numbers 

Otamatea region on the northern Kaipara is a significant peninsula and estuarine habitat and nesting sites for Kawau, Spoonbill, Bittern, Heron and Banded Rail. There are large pockets of native bush with a good population of Tui, Kereru and even the occasional kaka.

Backyard trapping group looking to get one rat trap in every fifth back garden across Sandringham. 

Pest animal control project focusing on trapping and baiting in the urban environment in South Auckland. This ranges from backyard trapping, to pest control in reserves and on private land. Support with trapping gear and advice is available through this project.

We are a group of residents who live in and around the bush area on the hillside at the south end of Snells beach 0920.

We hope to get rid of the animal and plant invasive species in this area.
