* The Tata Island Pest Eradication Project started Mid 2016.
* In 2016, 15 reconditioned, decommissioned DOC 150 box traps were laid on each Island, only rats have been caught in these traps since they were laid.
The Tauanui predator control network has been installed to control predators such as Ferrets, Stoats, Weasels and Pest Cats.
