Whau River Catchment Trust 

Helping New Zealand go pest free by 2050, the Whau River Catchment Trust is putting traps all throughout the Whau area. These traps catch everything including mice, rats and possums. Recently, there has been a lot of restoration work to put in native plants and create an environment for native birds. Putting in this trap line will ensure the hard work that has been put in already will be rewarded. This map covers the whole Whau River catchment and is intended to show the locations of traps provided/lent to people living in the Whau catchment.  Please enquire with [email protected] or phone us on 09 627 3372 if you would like to borrow trap.
