Mapua Dawn Chorus

Mapua Dawn Chorus is an urban trapping project in Māpua township, Ruby Bay and halo area.  This is a community project creating safe habitat for our native species to flourish.  Our community are welcome to join this group, and you can find out all you need to know by contacting us via email or reach out on Facebook - details below.  The project was first started thanks to support from PredatorFreeNZ in 2017 and is still supported byTasman Environmental Trust.

We hold a small stock of traps that are available to borrow for up to three months at a time, and can provide advice on placement, baits, etc.

We also have traps and tunnels available for sale.
