Cashmere Predator-Free
A backyard trapping initiative in the suburb of Cashmere, on the peri-urban fringe of Christchurch city, supporting trappers towards a Predator Free Port Hills and Cashmere. Target species: opossum, rat, mustelids e.g. stoat. To join the Cashmere project, please write to [email protected] and describe your set-up work. This will be added to the data map here and signed over to a new user i.d. we'll help you set up (by email invitation). You can later check in to add more trap and catch details as they occur. A record of trap results is important to monitor and control pest species. Help to bring back our native birds, lizards, amphibians, insects and bats.
