Sculpture Park, Tauwhare

The Sculpture Park is a reforested quarry; planting began 30 years ago by the original owners, planting over 20000 trees from all corners of the world. Since planting began, the quarry has transformed from an abandoned industrial wasteland to a thriving forest home for native birds, insects and plants. Visitors enjoy the peace, the quiet, and absorption in nature.
