Kaiaho Point Trapping and Habitat Protection

We have a small island near Portage in the Keneparu Sound with a few traps set for possums, stoats and rats. We are interested to get other land owners involved to try and get the whole island pest free. Since we were kids we have seen an massive decrease in the number of possums on the island and are keen to continue this work. The more data we gather through this collective the more we can identify areas and holes that need added protection and how to target that. It would also be fantastic to connect with other landowners and trapping projects in the area and create connections and protections.
