The Learning Environment - Pīwakawaka Farm Pest Control

The Learning Environment is an education facility set in a regenerating farm and striving ecological sanctuary called Pīwakawaka Farm. We are dedicated to regenerating the land and waterways at Pīwakawaka Farm to support the overall health and wellbeing of Te Awa Tupua, the Whanganui River.

Our vision is for all waterways on Pīwakawaka Farm to be restored to mature native forest and integrated with other regenerating forest blocks in surrounding areas. Along with native planting and invasive weed control, a significant component of this regeneration is animal pest control.
