Kaikoura Peninsula Protection - D.O.C

This project aims to protect the coastal birds and reptiles of Kaikoura Peninsula, especially the large Red-billed Gull and White-fronted Tern nesting colony, as well as nesting Blue Penguins. The trapping is part of a wider habitat enhancement project and is run in conjunction with a weed control programme and predator fenced Hutton's Sherawater colony in the same area.
