Predator Free Prebbleton was started by our 10 year old son who went to a Halswell Predator Free session and being a keen conservationist decided to start a group in his own back yard...literally the first trap was in our home garden. He grew his traps supplies to a total of five.

Shotover country and Lakes Hayes estate trapping project which runs along the twin rivers trail, Shotover and Kawarau rivers.

Our goal is a predator free Punakaiki. Adding to the brilliant predator control work currently happening in Punakaiki/West Coast by initially making the Pancake Rocks predator free with trapping.

I have started this group hoping to get the neighbourhood on board with backyard trapping of possums & rats . 

I have purchased my own traps from Farmsource & Predator Free NZ 

A collaborative community driven initaive striving to make change for our native species. Our project encloses crictical green spaces such as Riccarton Bush, along the Avon-Ōtakaro tributaries, Univeristy of Canterbury and other schools.
